Arbitrum (Opt.Rollups) is releasing the mainnet on 28/05 and Sequencer testnet on May 14. They will whitelist random interesting platforms candidates (we are there definitevely) to develop in thos 14 days since Sequencer to Mainnet.
With the following "fair launch" they will choose their first projects to be able to develop a opt.roll-up with them:
We have two important principles guiding our launch
Arbitrum is a community project, and open to everyone. We welcome all projects and users, and won’t be picking winners or giving specific projects priority access.
We want to make sure Arbitrum has an active and vibrant ecosystem for users as soon as it’s available to them.
Imagine OCTO (and it's not hard) as one of the platform that first serve a proper optimistic roll-up with Arbitrum, that would be MASSIVE. Reduce fees to almost 0, allowing scalability and putting some light in this community-owned DeFi platform that now IS ON IT'S OWN frens.
I think it really deserve a try.
