First let me start by saying how much i rate the octo project and what is being achieved here, the transparency from the team, the community, the progress that is been made i feel once people discover octo they tend see whats been created here and want to become part of it. I recently posted a question into the telegram group about future updates to the dapp ui and it sounded like it wasn't a major focus of the team currently.
With the some major releases of the launch pad and wallet extension just around the corner which will hopefully reel in a wave of new users, i feel one area that requires a decent level of improvement is the dapp ui, personally to me it feels a bit basic and bland. I fully understand that theres lots of hard work going on in the background with exciting new features and upgrades. However i think this is a major aspect in getting users to come back and use repeatedly use the platform.
Here are some projects that i feel have done a great job of ui
Maybe we could run a community driven campaign for a design of a new dapp with some exciting rewards for the winners, this could potentially create a good level of community engagement and maybe reel in some new members to the octo community. While allowing the developers to continue working hard on core features.
Ps Im a big fan of the new landing page its clean , easy to use and gets straight to the point of what octo is about.
