Hey guys I was thinking how we could attract even more people onto the OctoFi platform.
Lots of traders are gamblers or at least they like gambling.
What if we implement a lottery to the platform. I was thinking of a system where every 1 OCTO (or 5, or 10 OCTO,... ) held in a wallet gets u a ticket. Every ticket is one chance of winning the lottery.
It also doesn't have to be limited to a lottery. It could also be some kind of roulette or another gambling game, as long as people have a jackpot to win.
I am yet unsure on how to fill the jackpot. For exanple fot every lottery ticket to win the jackpot u have to put in $5 or something.
On the other hand OctoFi is all about teaching and showing the people the risks of DeFi and Cryptos, so it would kind of put us under a bad light if we promote gambling.
Another idea for a game would be a price prediction contest for selected coins. For example we take Bitcoin. Once every 24h every person can make a prediction of the price. Either it will be higher, or lower, than current value. If u are on the right side of the bet u get a recompensation. Would have to think about how to compensate the winners.
These are just some ideas how to attract people and entertain our community.
I am not a dev and so I have no idea about what is possible or not. Feel free to share your thoughts and I would love to start a discussion here.
